Glad to be here! My name is Rick Chambers, and I support UWSCMI as a strategic communications consultant. I've been in this contract role for almost 14 years via my agency, Rick Chambers & Associates. As a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident, I have a heart for great organizations like United Way and its partners working to make life better for everyone by opening doors and opportunities for people to thrive.

I'm married with two kids and two grandkids. I am a lifelong fan of science fiction, especially “Star Trek,” and had the privilege of writing episodes for a “Star Trek” web series during the 2010s. 🖖 I love writing, running, camping and being involved in my church. Also a big fan of '70s-era British progressive rock bands, i.e., Yes, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Genesis, etc. And yes, British humor as well, e.g., Monty Python and Mr. Bean.
