My name is Mitch(ell) Wilfer and I have been with United Way of South Central Michigan for 4 wonderful years! My background is in marketing/communications and it has been an absolute joy to do what I love with an organization I love as my career.

I am the truest of Midwesterners, as I was born in Youngstown, Ohio, lived in Metro Detroit, grew up in Metro St. Louis, Missouri, college in central Illinois, and now am back in Michigan in a city I have grown to love, Kalamazoo (oh, there was a summer in Milwaukee to add).

My hobbies include basketball, soccer, golf, and the outdoors. You'll also most likely find me at any craft brewery! A fun fact about me is I have tried over 3,500 different craft beers from across the country and world.

Other than that, I am a pretty simple guy who is looking forward to using this platform to continue to make a difference and spotlight all the wonderful work being done by our collaborators, as well as the items of improvement. Thank you all for joining us in these efforts!
