-For Impacted Residents: If you have not yet opened a case with Red Cross or been in contact with Reed Manor since the fire, please call 1-800-RED CROSS to get connected with resources and rehousing efforts.

 Donations: Funds are still needed to aid displaced residents in short-term and long-term recovery. Please consider a donation to our Disaster Relief Fund to get resources out quickly to where they’re needed most. 

Household Items: Our Jackson office is accepting donations of household items until 4 p.m. today and from 9-12 p.m. Friday. Find the list of items here: 

 We are also currently looking for boxes to transport items.

Activities: With residents sheltered or in hotels until they can be rehoused, UWSCMI is collecting new or gently used activities such as games, puzzles or books. These can be dropped off at our Jackson office at 536 N. Jackson street during business hours through March 27.

 Volunteers: Jackson’s First Presbyterian Church is in need of volunteers to help with sorting clothing and transportation. Visit

The Secretary of State Mobile Office will be onsite at Reed Manor Friday, March 20, from 12-2 p.m.  They will provide Driver’s Licenses and State ID’s to displaced Reed Manor residents at no cost. Their services will be available at cost for others.
