Since joining The Davies Project in January of 2016, Mike has provided over 282 rides for families who otherwise might not have made it to their child's medical appointments and expectant moms and dads to their prenatal appointments. Mike is always eager to help where needed, be it near drives locally or extended drives to Ann Arbor or Grant Rapids, and always with a caring and positive attitude.
Mike embodies what it truly means to serve others. He consistently goes beyond by stepping in for last-minute rides, staying flexible when schedules change, and making sure every client feels safe, respected, and cared for throughout their trip. For many years Mike took part in the monthly training classes for new volunteer drivers instructing on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
In 2025, Mike drove 2,946 miles, doing 52 family drives totaling 124 hours of donated volunteer services.
